QQPlayer

QQPlayer is a local music player designed for language learners. It plays the user's own audio files (songs, audiobooks) stored on the device, and provides language-learning features: variable playback speed (0.5x-2x), A-B repeat loops, single-sentence looping, karaoke-style follow-along mode, and synchronized lyrics with translations. BUSINESS MODEL: QQPlayer iOS is a PAID app (one-time download price). There are NO in-app purchases, NO subscriptions, and NO ads. A free macOS version of QQPlayer exists as a separate app on the developer's website, allowing users to try the full experience on desktop before purchasing the iOS version. The iOS app contains its own complete feature set and works fully independently. There is NO account system, NO login/registration, and NO user-generated content. All features are fully functional offline. CONTENT SETUP FOR REVIEWERS: The app plays the user's own music files. To add music, use any of: 1. Open QQPlayer and tap the import button, then pick files from the Files app / iCloud Drive. 2. Use the Share extension: share an audio file from Files/Music to QQPlayer. 3. Drag and drop audio files into the app via the Files app. CORE FEATURES TO TEST: - Music library browsing (albums, artists, folders, playlists) - Playback with lock screen controls and CarPlay support - Language learning: speed control, A-B repeat, single-sentence loop, karaoke follow-along mode - Synchronized lyrics display (Chinese/English); lyrics search via NetEase Music API and lrclib.net (optional - offline playback does not require these services) - Sleep timer, playback history, smart playlists PERMISSIONS: The app requests no sensitive permissions. It uses iCloud Drive only to sync the user's own music library across the user's own devices. EXTERNAL SERVICES: The only external services are NetEase Music's public lyrics API and lrclib.net, used solely to fetch lyrics when the user chooses to search for them. No user data is transmitted. REGIONAL DIFFERENCES: The app functions identically in all regions. TESTED DEVICES: iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 27).
