PDFChest

PDFChest is a local-first document cabinet for receipts, invoices, warranty cards, repair records, manuals, and PDFs. OCR runs on this iPhone. There is no account, no cloud, and no server-side processing. Scan paper documents with the camera, or import photos and PDFs from Photos. Review the detected type, title, merchant, amount, date, notes, category, return deadline, and warranty end date. Common receipt, invoice, and warranty keywords are recognized in English and Chinese. Group related records by product so a receipt, warranty card, repair note, and manual can stay together. Track return windows on receipts and invoices, and set warranty reminders with a lead time you choose. Reminders stay on this device and notification access is requested only when you turn them on. Review pages before processing: rotate, reorder, or remove them, then save as one PDF. Import multiple PDFs, merge them, edit saved pages, and preview with PDFKit. Export or share only when you choose the system share sheet. Search by title, merchant, OCR text, or notes. Filter by bills, warranties, PDFs, other records, or expired dates. Sort by recently added, document date, or expiry date. Optionally lock the vault with Face ID. Delete one record or all local data. Camera and Photos access are used only when you start scanning or importing. Face ID is optional and protects records on this device.
