Gleanly: Save Links & Notes

FROM YOUR APPS TO GLEANLY - When another app offers the iOS share sheet, send supported links, text and files to Gleanly. - Only a Copy Link button? Paste the link or shared text into Gleanly. Text without a link is saved as a note. - Check the title, add your own note and save. Your original link stays intact. THE RIGHT KIND OF REFERENCE - Recognized links show their website and a useful format, such as article, video, music, podcast, place or product. - Links from any other website can still be saved. - Read original pages in a quiet in-app browser whose bars step aside as you scroll. Write your note right beside the page. The temporary browser does not share Safari logins. - Save a webpage for offline reading. The article text and its images stay on your device, even if the link later breaks. - Select text or extract visible article paragraphs, review up to 30,000 characters, then append them with the source link to your note. YOUR FINDS, WITH YOUR OWN WORDS - Add context to something you saved, or write an independent note about your day, an idea or a plan. - Keep selected photos or take one with the camera, or record a voice note with pause, resume and playback before saving. - Audio keeps playing while you browse, with a mini player and controls on the Lock Screen and in Control Center. - Choose a video from Photos or Files, or record one with the camera. One video may be up to 500 MB. - Make collections, mark favorites and use the Inbox for items you have not filed yet. - Browse a grid or list, filter by type, and search titles, notes, sources, links and collection names. - Text in your images and PDFs becomes searchable automatically. Recognition runs on your device. - Find saved items from iPhone Search, and revisit one from a home screen widget. KNOW WHAT YOU SAVED - Saved links get their title and cover automatically. You can turn this off. - Saving a link on its own does not download the full article, video or post. Opening it may need internet or a login at the source. - Download supported public audio and video file links, up to 200 MB, for offline playback. - Deleted items wait in Trash for 30 days, so you can change your mind. - Export a ZIP backup with readable metadata and the original files on your device, and restore it later. FREE, WITH NO ACCOUNT Gleanly is free, with no account, no ads and no item limit. Everything you save stays readable, editable and exportable. iCloud sync is off by default. When enabled, your notes, collections, searchable text, thumbnails and originals, including photos, videos, voice notes and documents, sync through your own private iCloud database and use your iCloud storage. Turning sync off does not delete data already in iCloud. Available in English and Simplified Chinese.
