When the budget runs out they go quiet until midnight. A separate reminder line can notify you shortly before you hit the limit, without blocking anything. A LIST FOR LATER When you feel the urge to open something, write it down instead. Come back later and decide whether you still want it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no server, no analytics. Everything stays on your device. The app never reads detailed usage history from Apple - it only reacts to the limits you set. LIMITATIONS, STATED PLAINLY Apple does not expose whole-device screen time to apps, so Starrest can only limit the apps and categories you select. Screen-on time is counted; background audio is not.
