WellKept: Your Well On Record

When did you last test your well water? Do you still have the results? If your home runs on a private well, nobody tests it for you and nobody keeps the records. WellKept does. It keeps a clean history of every water test you run - each result, each retest reminder, and a complete record you can hand to a buyer, lender, or health department when you need it. All on your iPhone. WHAT WELLKEPT DOES - Log each water test by date and lab, with a result for coliform, nitrate, arsenic, lead, pH, radon, PFAS, hardness, and more. - See each result next to the publicly available EPA or state action level, as a plain factual comparison (for example, "Nitrate 12 mg/L - above the EPA action level of 10 mg/L"). - Set retest reminders by contaminant. CDC and EPA recommend testing coliform and nitrate every year; reminders go to your Calendar and as notifications. - Keep a maintenance log - well-cap inspections, pump replacements, shock disinfection, sediment clean-outs. - Generate a Well Water Records PDF for a buyer, lender, or health department. - Read plain-English reference on what each contaminant is, with the EPA and state figures and recommended testing frequency. WHAT WELLKEPT IS NOT - PLEASE READ - WellKept is not health or safety advice. It records the results you enter and shows public EPA and state figures for comparison. It does NOT tell you whether your water is safe to drink and does not interpret any health effect. - For questions about your water and your health, consult your local health department or a water professional. EPA's private-well resources are free at epa.gov/privatewells. - WellKept is not a testing lab and does not test your water. You take your sample to a lab; WellKept keeps the results. WHY NOT JUST A FOLDER OF LAB REPORTS? Because in a year you will not remember when to retest, and at sale you will not want to dig through paper. WellKept keeps it organized and reminds you. YOUR RECORDS, ON YOUR IPHONE Your test history lives on your iPhone. There is no account to create and nothing is uploaded to a server - the comparisons and totals are computed right on your device.
