NearDock

NearDock helps you share text, photos, videos and files between nearby iPhones and Macs. Connect directly over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, with no account or cloud relay required for core transfers. SHARE WITH NEARBY DEVICES Discover a device, compare the pairing code and confirm on both sides. Send messages and attachments in a dedicated chat. Keep several separate conversations open and switch between them as you work. FROM YOUR IPHONE, IN A FEW TAPS Choose photos and videos from your library or files from the Files picker. Share text, links and attachments to NearDock from other apps, then open NearDock to send them to an existing conversation. Preview supported attachments, save them or forward them to another conversation. CONNECT THROUGH A BROWSER The other device does not need to install NearDock. Choose “Connect a browser”, then scan the QR code or open the complete link on a device on the same local network. Exchange text and files through the browser. Only share the link with the intended device. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR TRANSFERS See transfer progress, cancel when needed and retry interrupted transfers. Supported transfers can resume after reconnection. Conversations and attachment copies are stored on your device, with controls to clear a conversation’s local files. GOOD TO KNOW Native connections require NearDock running on both devices. Browser mode requires a reachable local network and supports HTTP or optional HTTPS; HTTPS may show a certificate trust prompt on first use. Keep NearDock in the foreground on iPhone when using browser mode. Availability in the background depends on iOS, and transfers may pause when devices sleep or leave wireless range. Files must be available locally for offline sharing; iCloud items may need to download first. Available in English and Simplified Chinese.
