Tracejar: Private Journal

Tracejar is built around absolute privacy. Your journal and photos stay on your device and in your own private iCloud — never on our servers, never used for tracking and never seen by us. ABSOLUTE PRIVACY, BY DESIGN • No accounts, no sign-up, no tracking, no analytics, no ads and no third-party SDKs. • Entries stay on your device and, if you choose, in your own private iCloud. We have no servers, so we cannot read them. • App Lock, a separate album passcode and Face ID or Touch ID let you control who can open your private space. OPTIONAL PRIVATE AI USAGE New in 1.5: an optional Home Screen widget for the Kimi and DeepSeek accounts you already own. • Kimi short-term and weekly quota, remaining percentage and reset time. • DeepSeek balance, today's spend, 30-day cost and token usage. • Off by default. Enable it only when you are ready, then enter your own credentials. • Keys and cached totals stay in the device-only Keychain. They never enter iCloud Keychain, CloudKit, the journal database or a Tracejar server. • Tracejar connects directly to the official provider endpoints. Turning the feature off deletes the locally stored keys and cache. Home Screen widgets are refreshed on iOS's schedule, not continuously. Financial values are marked privacy-sensitive for protected system surfaces; anyone who can see your unlocked Home Screen can see the widget. A PRIVATE ALBUM FOR YOUR PHOTOS Photos in Tracejar's Private Album are encrypted on your device with AES-GCM before they are saved or synced. After a successful encrypted import, Tracejar asks iOS to remove the selected originals from Photos. They stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. The album has its own passcode, separate from App Lock, plus optional Face ID or Touch ID on that device. Even in your private iCloud, only encrypted data is stored. There is no back door: if you forget the album passcode, nobody, including us, can open those photos. SPEAK IT. DON'T TYPE IT. Tap the microphone and talk. Your words appear in the entry as you speak, in dozens of languages, ready to edit. Voice-note transcription runs entirely on your device. A WHOLE PAGE IN ONE SCREENSHOT Long-press Screen Recording in Control Center, choose Tracejar and scroll. Tracejar stitches the frames into one tall image on your device. FACE ID OR TOUCH ID LOCK & DECOY MODE Lock the app with Face ID or Touch ID, plus a separate App Lock passcode. With Decoy Mode enabled, a failed biometric match shows an ordinary-looking timeline written by you instead of exposing your private entries. EVERYTHING ELSE • Text, photos, videos, voice notes, mood, tags and optional location • Search, filters and "On This Day" • CSV export whenever you want • Warm Standard and monospaced ASCII Terminal looks • Left- and right-hand layouts on iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad No ads. No subscriptions. No account. Just a quiet place that is only yours.
