AI TXT Reader — Read your own books. Understand them with AI. AI TXT Reader is a personal reading app for the plain-text files you already have. It is not a bookstore and includes no books — you bring your own TXT files and read them your way. Read, your way Import TXT from your device, the system share sheet, a WebDAV server you configure, or a link you paste. Automatic chapter splitting, clean reading layout, reading progress, and bookmarks. Built-in text-to-speech powered by the system speech synthesizer — listen to your book hands-free. Optional AI that helps you dig deeper All AI features are off until you turn them on: Book introduction and chapter / full-book summaries. Character mapping, story-line overview, and relationship maps. Ask questions about the book you are reading. Your files, your choice AI runs the way you prefer: Your own provider — enter your endpoint and API key; requests go straight from your device to your provider. Platform channels (free / trial / paid) — the app holds no model credentials; it fetches a short-lived token and relays through our server, which processes requests in transit and does not store your book text, questions, or replies. Only what's needed is sent: your question, the relevant short excerpts, and basic book metadata. For story-line and relationship maps, only the book's title, author, and chapter count are used. Subscriptions AI TXT Reader offers auto-renewable subscriptions for the paid AI channel: Member — unlocks the paid platform channel with a higher quota: $9.99 / month. Expert — a faster tier with a larger quota on the same paid channel: $39.99 / month. While a paid subscription is active, it replaces the free and trial channels on your devices. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Free and trial channels require no subscription and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. The core reading experience works offline. AI features require network access. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate — verify anything important yourself.
