StageMate also works on iPhone, for daily practice, lessons and performances. Read your own scores Import PDFs, images or scanned scores and organize them in folders. Read full pages, half pages or two pages side by side. Browse thumbnails or enter an original page number to jump to a page. When you return, choose to continue from your last position or start over. Keep your notes clear Write on the score, add text and music symbols, and use Apple Pencil on supported iPads. Create separate annotation versions for teacher notes, your fingering and performance markings. Switch versions and choose which one to export as an annotated PDF or image. Pick up your practice Save each score’s practice range, tempo and metronome settings. Name difficult passages so you can return to them. Keep practice recordings organized by score, with in-app playback, seeking and renaming. Import MusicXML, XML or MXL for offline playback with measure following. PDFs and images are for reading and annotation; they are not automatically converted into playable scores.
