ReadNest helps young readers practise with short, personalised reading passages created by Apple Intelligence. Your child can read a story, tap tricky words for simple kid-friendly explanations, listen to it read aloud with word highlighting, and answer comprehension questions. Parents follow progress from a private dashboard. ReadNest is built for families who care about privacy. No account, no sign-up, and no ReadNest servers. Stories are created with Apple Intelligence — on your device, or on iOS 27 and later with Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which Apple designs so requests aren't stored or visible to Apple. Story requests contain only the reading level, topic and story settings — never your child's name or reading history. Your child's stories, words and quiz results stay on the device. No ads. No third-party tracking in kids mode.
