Features • Log every hunt with detailed fields • Save profiles for your hounds and assign them to hunts • Track weather, terrain, and race details • Record outcomes like treed, bayed, called off, lost track, and more • Attach photos and a short video to each hunt • Keep personal notes and hunt details • Automatically track statistics such as hunt outcomes and trends • Review your entire hunting history anytime Built-In Statistics The app automatically calculates key stats from your hunt log — including outcomes and totals — so you can see patterns over time. Whether you're interested in success rates, how hunts typically end, or how seasons compare, your data works for you without extra effort. Reliable Storage — Even Offline Bear Hound Diaries uses Apple Core Data to store your hunts locally on your device. This means your information is always available, even when you’re deep in the woods with no signal. There are no syncing delays, no cloud dependency, and your data remains private — stored only on your phone. Subscription Required A subscription is required to access and use the app. This supports continued development and ensures Bear Hound Diaries remains a high-quality, specialty tool for serious hound hunters. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions can be managed or canceled in your iPhone settings. Changing Phones or Restoring Data Because your hunt data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app will permanently erase your journal unless your phone is backed up. If you get a new iPhone, simply restore from your iCloud backup or encrypted computer backup, and your hunt history will transfer with you. If the app is deleted without a backup, the data cannot be recovered. Built for Real Houndsmen This app was designed around the way hunts really happen. Clean entry screens. Logical options. Real-world outcomes. No distractions — just the information that matters. Whether you want to track performance, preserve memories, or pass down your hunting history, Bear Hound Diaries gives you a place to build your legacy. Start documenting your hunts today.
