Description

This app allows user to take photos and videos at lower resolution and even custom resolution down to 20x20 pixels! You can also batch compress upto 50 photos in one click. Save massive space on videos and photos! Sometimes we want to capture very small sized video to quickly send to other people for various reasons including but not limited to: - Debugging - Quick preview - Save storage space - LoFi for fun - Quick sharing on social media. - Different picture / video dimensions. - Option to save both high res and low res copies of the same image. - Option to preserve timestamp after converting image or video. Preset resolutions: 120p - 120 x 160 ~ 0.02 MP (megapixels) 240p - 240 x 320 ~ 0.08 MP 360p - 360 x 480 ~ 0.17 MP 480p - 480 x 640 ~ 0.3 MP 720p - 720 x 1280 ~ 0.9 MP Other Features - Choose lower audio quality or no audio at all. - Save to custom folder. - Batch conversion of up to 50 images / videos at once. - One click conversion. E.g. I sometime just want to report a problem to my developers about some issue with an app, and i really don't need 4K or Full HD for that... I want LOWER resolutions.

For some reason the file size and resolution is much smaller than other files I’ve taken at higher resolution, then reduced to the same pixel dimensions and color depth. Therefore I tend to use a custom size of 4000x3000 for work photos (<1mb). The app will not let me save any new videos saying “Sorry, can’t save to photo library! Clean the Library!” Even though I have 90 gb of free space on my iPhone 12 and I already deleted and reinstalled the app, same result.

If anyone wants to send videos to contacts via text or email this allows you to take a video at much lower resolution than the standard iPhone allows. In other words instead of being limited to about 15 seconds of video you can send several minutes worth at a lower resolution and pick whatever video quality you want. It’s perfect in my business because now I can send videos of machines running at a lower resolution which is more than adequate and not be limited to 10 to 15 seconds worth of video. I love how it’s seamless easy to use and integrates straight into the video and camera option of the standard iPhone. Excellent App. It doesn’t have special effects and other mumbo-jumbo don’t need it you can easily do that in the iPhone or some aftermarket program but if you just want to send longer videos without hassles this is the app to use.

Now, you have to keep the app open and wait for it to covert/compress the video. If you take a 5 minute video at 480p, you’ll be waiting MINUTES for it to finish. Terrible.

The new update requires you to pay a premium fee to change the resolution to their presets (not even a custom resolution option btw) after 2 years of letting you do it for free. Putting a paywall in this app was the stupidest thing you could do

But first time I open it, the ad is one of those that holds your phone captive and tells you your phone is infected. You can’t close the ad, you either have to click through to the ad vendor or you have to kill the app and go back in. Same happened to me on the second opening. I’m out.
