Spine Deformity

Spine Deformity is a real-time 3D visualization app for spinal deformity correction training, designed to work with UpSurgeOn's sensorized spine simulators. How it works: Connect to a sensorized spine simulator equipped with embedded sensors. The app wirelessly receives real-time data and displays a dynamic 3D model of the spine (from the lumbar spine and sacrum up to C7), showing the effects of corrective maneuvers as they happen. Supported simulators: • Spine Deformity Lenke 1 • Spine Deformity Kyphoscoliosis The app recognizes the connected simulator automatically and loads its 3D model, scales and metrics. Key features: • Real-time 3D visualization with X-ray shader effect • Four metrics: Vertebral De-rotation, Coronal Cobb, the sagittal angle (Kyphosis for Lenke 1, Lumbar Lordosis for Kyphoscoliosis) and Length Recovery • Dual view: interactive 3D model + Curvature View with coronal and sagittal curves • Wireless connection with device scan and QR code pairing • Factory calibration to compensate manufacturing variance • Multi-device support: each simulator has a unique identity • Demo Mode to explore the app without a simulator • Designed for tablets in landscape orientation For whom: Spine Deformity is a professional training tool for orthopedic surgeons, residents, and medical students learning spinal deformity correction techniques on physical simulators.
