Description

YOUR LOGBOOK, YOUR DATA I'm an airline pilot, and I built Logbird for fellow pilots. It is shaped around the work we actually do: multi-sector days, changing rosters, duty hours and years of flight history. Bring in your schedule, record what happened and see the full picture of your flying in one personal logbook. EASY ROSTER IMPORT Import a compatible roster from an ICS calendar file, CSV, pasted text, PDF or photo. You can also select a roster from your iPhone calendar. Review the flights before saving, then add your actual OFF-block, takeoff, landing and ON-block times. Multi-sector days no longer have to start with typing every flight from scratch. MORE THAN A LIST OF FLIGHTS Track block, duty and night time, landings, currency, routes, aircraft and career totals. Explore trends and statistics built from your own flights, and check your duty day on Apple Watch. The FDP simulator helps you see how a delay could change your plan. BRING YOUR FLIGHT HISTORY Import compatible CSV, XLS and XLSX exports from other logbooks, including LogTen Pro and CrewLounge PILOTLOG. Logbird recognizes many columns automatically; you can map the rest and review a preview before importing. Have older hours without individual flight records? Add them as prior experience. If your export won't import correctly, email a copy to [email protected]. We'll convert it into a Logbird-ready file for free and send it back. Sending a file is optional. Keep your original and check your flights and totals after importing. PILOT FEEDBACK MATTERS If a roster causes trouble, something doesn't work as expected or you have an idea that would make Logbird more useful in your work, write to [email protected]. We'll do our best to help and use pilot feedback to keep improving the app. YOUR LOGBOOK, YOUR DATA Your flights stay on your iPhone or iPad, with optional sync through your own iCloud account. Export EASA- or FAA-style logbook PDFs, Excel and CSV files, or a restorable JSON backup. No Logbird account, ads or tracking. Regular imports are processed on your device; our support team receives a file only if you choose to email it for help. Try all features for 14 days from your first recorded or imported flight. After that, keep using the basic logbook with up to 50 flights at no charge. Premium adds unlimited flights and advanced features through an auto-renewing yearly subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase. The 14-day try-out does not start a paid subscription or charge you automatically. A yearly subscription is billed when you choose to buy it and renews until cancelled. Prices are shown in your App Store before purchase. Logbird is a personal recordkeeping and planning tool, not a certified official logbook. Its FDP and FTL calculations are estimates. Always follow your operator's procedures and the rules of the relevant authority.

CLASS TIME • Imports keep SE, ME and multi-pilot time. Safelog, LogTen Pro, CrewLounge, ForeFlight, FlyLog.io and EASA paper-layout spreadsheets are read for it, and the import review shows your SE / ME / MP split before you save. • The EASA print and PDF show single-pilot SE, single-pilot ME and multi-pilot time in their own columns, on every page and in the totals. • Flights imported earlier can get their class afterwards: import the old file again and choose “Fill time class only”, or set it per aircraft type under Import → Fix existing flights. • “Check against my old logbook” in Statistics compares your totals with the last page of your old logbook, column by column. It writes nothing. STUDENT MODE • Choose Student under Settings → Profile. New flights start as Dual, and the flight form offers Lesson, Solo, SPIC and Simulator, a Local flight button and a + Circuit counter. • Your dashboard shows your training totals instead of duty and flight-time limits, and no airline currency rules apply. NIGHT TIME • Night follows the EASA definition, the sun more than 6° below the horizon, and is worked out along the great-circle route at the real time of day. Summer flights in the far north and flights across midnight UTC come out right. The Night Calculator in Settings uses the same method and only runs when you tell it to. IMPORT • LogTen Pro: relief crew names, scheduled times and CAT II / CAT III approaches now come through. Approach categories in other files are read as the form’s own Approach type. • “Replace entire logbook” asks first, with the numbers, refuses a file that is mostly unreadable and keeps a copy: Settings → Data → Restore logbook from before last import. AIRCRAFT • Types are grouped as variant, model and rating: A321-211 and A321-271N are the A321, the A319–A321 are one type rating, C152 and C172 are SEP time. Group your own types under Statistics → Group aircraft. • Over 500 aircraft types are built in, and you can add your own on the Aircraft page. • The SEP class rating’s 12-month revalidation requirements can be added to Currency, with the date they lapse. FAA • The FAA export has SEL, MEL, SES, MES, helicopter, dual received, instructor, simulated instrument, simulator, complex, high performance and tailwheel columns. Instrument approaches count only instrument approaches, not visual ones. CURRENCY AND DUTY • Roster legs you did not fly no longer count toward currency, and fleet and type rules match by aircraft model. A duty that ends after midnight UTC is measured correctly on the dashboard. ELSEWHERE • Editing a flight keeps the class and the solo / student-PIC mark it was imported with. • A setting cleared on one device clears on your others, and an older iCloud copy no longer brings it back. • Airport and runway data restored from a backup or iCloud is checked before it is used.
