Oto Diary

Some moments can't be captured in a photo or a sentence. Oto Diary is an audio journal that keeps the sound of your day in as little as 10 seconds. Just press and hold the cassette reel. One year later, on the same day, that sound comes back to you as a Time Capsule. The more days you record, the more your calendar and Year view fill up with a year that's uniquely yours. ■ Features · Press and hold the reel to record (choose 10, 30 or 60 seconds and more, once a day) · Label each tape with a title and one of five moods: Calm, Happy, Tired, Tender, Wonder · Calendar: every recorded day gets a waveform. Tap a day to play it back · Year view: see all twelve months of your recordings at a glance · Time Capsule: a notification brings back the sound you recorded one year ago today · Not so long ago: replay what you recorded one week and one month ago, right in the Capsule tab · Favorites: keep your most precious recordings in one album · Streaks: see how many days in a row you've kept going · Daily reminder at the time you choose ■ Perfect for · Anyone who never managed to keep a written journal · Parents saving their kids' voices, pet owners, families · Capturing your commute, your travels, and the changing seasons in sound · Building a tiny 10-second daily habit · Keeping memories in a form that photos can't ■ Privacy · Every recording is stored on this device · No account needed. Your recordings are never uploaded to a server · The mic is used only while you hold the reel, with a recording light on screen · To introduce other apps by the same developer, the app may load public App Store information.
