FeedTurnover

FeedTurnover is a utility I developed for ranch managers who track monthly feed inventory but do not want to maintain another spreadsheet. You can input the initial and final inventory levels (in tons), monthly consumption, and optional cost per ton for each feed type (silage, hay, concentrate, mineral, or custom item). The application uses your reporting period to calculate average inventory, turnover, and days on hand, and then categorizes each item into fast, normal, or slow based on the threshold you control in Settings. The 'Analysis' tab compares the summary with a bar chart and a sortable detailed list that can be filtered by category. Purchasing converts these numbers into actionable lines: providing suggested order quantities for fast actors and reducing suggestions for slow inventory.
