RefSource is the simple way for trade shops and their partners to track every referral from first lead to paid commission. No spreadsheets, no sticky notes, no "I'll text you the address later." Built for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing and restoration shops, and the partners who send them work. RefSource keeps every referral organized in one shared queue, so shops can respond fast, partners can see what happened, and commissions get settled on time. HOW IT WORKS Referral partners join through a shop invitation and can start sending work to shops they trust. Receiving shops use a paid plan after their trial. Commission terms are agreed up front and recorded in the app. RefSource keeps the record; shops pay each other directly. RefSource never moves money and never contacts your customer. The receiving shop handles that relationship. WHAT YOU CAN DO For referrers (the ones sending work): • Send a referral to a shop you trust. Pick the shop, choose the service type, add notes and photos. • Follow every referral you've sent in one queue, with status at a glance and the commission owed back to you. • Attach photos of jobsite damage or proof of completion to keep the receiving shop aligned. • Open RefSource to check referral status and commission records. Email notifications about referral activity are not currently available to invited referrers. For shops receiving referrals: • See every incoming referral in one queue, sorted by age and urgency. • Update status as the work moves: Accepted, Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, Paid. • Track KPIs across all your partners: response time, conversion rate, commission paid. • Manage your team with admin, manager, and viewer roles. For admins: • Customize statuses, service types, commission rules, notification preferences, and your shop's branding. • Invite teammates, set roles, and see who did what. PRIVACY Your referrals, contacts, and commission data belong to your shop. We do not sell your data, and the app contains no advertising or marketing trackers. We rely on a small set of trusted service providers to run the app (hosting, email delivery, payments, error reporting); they are listed in our privacy policy at https://refsource.app/privacy.
