ounce

Ounce answers one question: how much am I carrying? Keep one kit per trip — Summer 3-day, Winter hut, an overnight fastpack — each pre-loaded with sensible starter gear across thirteen categories, so it's useful before you type a single word. Tap any item to leave it behind, edit its weight, or remove it. Add new gear to any category, including a free-form Miscellaneous list for the odds and ends. Your total updates live, drawn the way you like it: a big number, a category-shaded ring, or a stacked bar. Mark items worn (carried on your body, not your pack) or consumable (food, fuel, water), and Ounce keeps carried weight, worn weight and percent of body weight straight without you doing the math. BREAKDOWN See exactly where the weight sits: every category ranked by share, the ten heaviest items in your kit, and your load as a percentage of body weight. Find the one swap that actually moves the needle. CHECKLISTS Turn any kit into something to pack by. Strike a checklist from your active kit and every item flattens to a name and a checkbox, frozen at that moment — edit or gut the kit afterward and the checklist you already packed from doesn't change. Reorder by hand, check things off as they go in the bag, and start a blank list whenever you don't need a kit behind it. MULTIPLE KITS Keep as many kits as you have trips. Duplicate one to start a variant, rename it inline, clear it out and start over — nothing here is precious. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-in, no network calls, no ads. Every kit, item and checklist lives on your device. Nothing you weigh is anyone's business but yours. Built for iOS 26 with Liquid Glass, in grams or ounces, whichever you think in.
