Description
Replycant is an open-source, self-hosted photo library for people who want control over where personal media is stored. Connect the app to your own Replycant server, sync photos and videos from Apple Photos, and browse your library in a chronological timeline on iPhone or iPad. Features: - Sync photos and videos from Apple Photos - Browse a chronological photo and video timeline - View photos and play videos full screen - Encrypt stored media and metadata - Connect to your home server without configuring any firewall using tailscale - Store library data using Git and Git LFS - Link additional devices securely with QR codes - No ads, no behavioral tracking Self-hosted: Replycant does not provide a hosted storage service. A compatible Replycant server is required, and you are responsible for operating and backing up that server. Replycant is open source. Source code and setup instructions are available on GitHub.
