SmartCabPro Driver is the driver app for taxi companies that run on SmartCabPro. • Get ride offers. New trips ring your phone with pickup, drop-off, and distance — accept or pass. • Stay on the board. Your car stays live on dispatch through your whole shift, screen on or off. • Navigate the trip. A road-following map to your passenger, plus one-tap "Open in Maps." • Work the flow. Arrived, passenger on board, delivered — the trip steps your dispatcher expects. • Reach your rider. Call or message the passenger right from the trip. You sign in with the car key and PIN your taxi company gives you. This app is for drivers working with a SmartCabPro-powered taxi company. WHY BACKGROUND LOCATION: while you are signed in to a shift, the app shares your car's live location with your dispatcher — even when the screen is off — so ride offers near you reach you and passengers can see their taxi coming. Location stops the moment you end your shift.
