Scan each other's pair code — a quick two-way handshake. No phone numbers needed. 2. Get separated. Lose each other in a packed crowd with dead signal? Open Rally. 3. Find them. An on-screen beacon points toward your friend with live direction and distance. Sharpest on iPhone 15 Pro and later (Ultra-Wideband); a guided beacon on earlier iPhones. 4. Stay in touch. Send a text or photo straight to your crew over Bluetooth and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi — no cell service required. Rally is friend-gated: only people you've added can find or message you, and you can block or remove anyone. Messages travel phone to phone; when there's no path, a text can wait briefly on our server, encrypted so we can't read it. Photos only ever travel phone to phone.
