Description
The system support users in the TSR/ESR process to describe, approve and activate an TSR/ESR 'accurately' with a length of 20 meters or greater, and in a format suitable for the RBC. Improve railway operation performance, by reducing the length of speed restrictions affected area. Current known methods of defining the locations of ETCS speed restrictions rely on the communication of fixed Railway assets. This method implies a constraint on the size of a speed restriction, and when speed restrictions are significantly larger than the affected area they imply a greater operational impact by costing unnecessary delays.
