Description
SizeRef helps you choose the clothing size that fits you before you buy online. Measure your body • Scan with your iPhone's camera: prop the phone up, stand back and follow the steps on the screen and the spoken ones. SizeRef measures you on the phone. The pictures are never saved or sent; only the measurements are kept. • Or use a front and a side photo from your library, or type in measurements you took with a tape. • Each measurement is shown as a range, and the Body tab shows a 3D body model made from your numbers. Check a product • Paste a product link, or add up to 3 screenshots of the product page and its size chart. • SizeRef reads the shop's own size chart and product details, compares them with your measurements, and shows the size most likely to fit, the reason, and how the size fits each part of your body. • Tell SizeRef how much room you like, for every piece or for each kind of piece. When you are between two sizes, it uses that choice, or asks. • If a shop's page can't be read from its link, SizeRef asks for screenshots instead, or you can enter a body-size chart yourself. Your fits, remembered • Save checks to My fits, and tell SizeRef how things fitted after you buy. Notes are used for your sizes. • Remember pieces you already own, with their size and how they feel. • Optional reminders ask whether you bought something and how it fit. Your phone makes them by itself. • Your Fit ID card shares only the lines you switch on, as text or as an image headed with your nickname, if you gave one. • Save a backup file of everything to a place you choose, and restore it on this or a new iPhone. Private by design • Your measurements, sizes and history stay on your phone and in your phone's own backup, unless you save a backup file or share them. • To read a product, SizeRef sends only its link or your screenshots to SizeRef's reading service and to Anthropic's Claude. The service also gets a random install number, which only counts reads. The app asks your permission first, and you can withdraw it in Settings. • No account, no ads, no tracking. • Delete everything from the phone at any time: Body > Settings > Privacy. Good to know • Product reading needs an internet connection and is limited to 10 products a day on each phone. If the month's reading budget runs out, reading pauses until the next month, and SizeRef tells you. The scan works without a connection. • Some shops list garment measurements instead of body measurements. SizeRef shows that chart but can't suggest a size from it yet. • Sizes are estimates for choosing clothes. SizeRef is not a medical device. • Pip, the guide in the app, is drawn from illustrations by Ian (MIT licence), credited in Licences.
