forae

Remember stumbling onto something amazing happening in your city that you almost missed? A band playing their first show. An artist opening their studio. A neighborhood market you never knew existed. forae exists so you never miss those moments again. We built forae because local communities are full of things worth showing up for - and no one was making them easy to find. Not the garage sale two blocks away. Not the open mic at the coffee shop. Not the protest, the pop-up, the class in the park. The big platforms only show you what's been promoted or paid for. We show you what's actually happening. What's actually happening in your city tonight? forae is a map-first event discovery app built for real communities. Browse a live map of events near you - concerts, art openings, farmers markets, pop-ups, classes, food trucks, estate sales, garage sales, and everything in between. Posted by the people who live there. FIND WHAT'S NEAR YOU See events as pins on a live map centered on your location. Zoom in on your neighborhood or zoom out to explore the whole city. Filter by category. Tap any pin to get details, directions, and everything you need to show up. NOT JUST THE BIG STUFF Most platforms only show ticketed, promoted, or algorithmically boosted events. forae surfaces everything - from stadium shows to a ceramicist's open studio, a yoga class in the park, or a block party down the street. If it's happening, it belongs on the map. POSTED BY YOUR NEIGHBORS Every event on forae is posted by someone in your community - a local artist, a small business, a community organizer, or just someone throwing a thing. No algorithm deciding what you see. No pay-to-play discovery. Just what's actually going on around you.
