NOT ANOTHER CORPORATE PITCH. A letter from Seth Seigler, creator of Murge World I’m a part of the first generation raised on social media. For 20 years, I’ve watched social media promise to connect us while delivering dishonesty, disconnection, and exploitation. It made me less social, less connected, and more isolated. We learned to perform. To chase attention. To scroll past people instead of actually meeting them. I don’t believe this is as good as social can be. So I built Murge World. My dream is simple: build a social world that gives something back to your life. Discover the people, experiences, and communities around you. Be yourself without performing for an audience. Use technology to create real human connection instead of replacing it. Murge World is brand new. It’s not perfect yet. But I know what I want it to become—and what I’ll fight to protect as we grow. As Murge World grows, I want our privacy protections to grow with it, including encryption wherever we can responsibly provide it. You are a person, not a number.
