East Cree Reader

East Cree Reader supports invitation-only Cree language documentation and speech research. Invited participants can: • Capture or import document images • Send scans to a custom East Cree OCR service • Rotate and crop images, organize projects, and correct syllabics with a built-in keyboard • Review source-image context while editing • Hear generated reference audio • Record short, word-aware utterance segments • Submit recordings and paired prompts for consented Cree text-to-speech model training, validation, evaluation, and improvement Access requires an API invitation token supplied by the project administrator. The app clearly explains what is collected and how voice contributions may be used before creating a participant profile. Participants can review their consent, stop contributing, and delete their account and retained active-service data from within the app. This app is intended for a defined group of invited research participants; it is not a general public account service.
