E6B Flight Computer Plus

The flight computer, both ways: work the real dial, or just type the numbers. E6B Flight Computer Plus is a complete E6B — the circular slide rule student pilots learn for the FAA exams — rebuilt for iPhone and iPad. The calculator side rotates and slides like the real instrument: time, speed, and distance, fuel burn, and conversions with the gauge marks. The wind side works the real procedure: set the wind, turn to your course, and read your heading and ground speed off the grid. Every readout matches the math the physical instrument performs. NEW TO THE E6B? SKIP THE DIAL. Direct mode answers the same questions in plain words. "How fast you're really going over the ground." "How much wind is pushing you sideways." Type the numbers, get the answer — every term explained where you first meet it, plus a full glossary in plain language. Beginners can plan a flight unaided; checkride-ready pilots lose nothing. WHAT IT SOLVES Wind correction angle, heading, and ground speed. Headwind and crosswind components for any runway. Time, speed, and distance in any direction. Fuel burn, fuel needed, and endurance. True airspeed and density altitude from pressure altitude and temperature. Conversions: nautical and statute miles, kilometers, gallons and liters, pounds and kilograms, feet and meters, Fahrenheit and Celsius, inHg and hPa. BUILT FOR THE CHECKRIDE AND THE COCKPIT Faithful dial behavior for learning the instrument your examiner expects. Instant plain-language answers when you just need the number. A layout designed for iPad, not stretched from a phone. Works completely offline — no account, no sign-in, no ads, no data collection, no tracking. Training aid only: always verify flight-planning figures with your aircraft's approved data and current charts before flying.
