Vertible: File Converter

Vertible converts files and measurements on your phone. Photos, audio, video and PDFs are converted by the phone itself: no file is uploaded, nothing waits on a server, and it works in airplane mode. One payment, no subscription. The free version does real work, with its few limits stated on the screen where they apply. Vertible Pro is one in-app purchase that removes them, and it never becomes a subscription. Units and files in one app. One screen, the Bench, turns a HEIC photo into a JPEG, a video into an MP3 and miles into kilometers, with the same controls and one history. FILES - Images: HEIC, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PSD, TGA, SVG, DNG and camera RAW in; JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF and BMP out, and AVIF with Pro on iPhones that can write it. Resize, crop, compress to a size you name, strip location data - Audio: MP3, AAC, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, Opus, Ogg Vorbis and Apple Lossless in and out, plus AMR voice recordings in. Trim, set bitrate and sample rate - Video: MP4, MOV, 3GP, WebM, AVI, MKV and FLV in; MP4, MOV and 3GP out. Trim, compress, extract the soundtrack - Archives: RAR, 7z, TAR, GZ, BZ2 and XZ to ZIP; comic books (CBZ, CBR, CB7, CBT) to PDF - PDF: images to PDF and back. Pro adds merge, split, rotate, compress, text to PDF, and PDF to text with on-device text recognition for scans What matters in a video is the codec inside it. If this phone has no decoder for it, Vertible names it. UNITS AND NUMBERS - Length, mass, volume, area, speed, temperature, pressure, energy, power, data size, angle, time and fuel economy - Cooking volumes, clothing sizes and shoe sizes - Number bases, color codes, timestamps, CSV, JSON and YAML, Base64, hashes and Roman numerals Currency is the one thing that needs a connection: Vertible keeps the last rate table it downloaded, uses it offline and shows its date. A conversion the phone can't do is never offered: it is shown as unavailable, with the reason.
