Onda Room

Onda Room is the iPhone companion to Onda for Mac. Use your iPhone to see your room, mark your speakers and listening seat, and guide sound measurements for a supported Onda setup. YOUR ROOM, ON YOUR IPHONE Use a LiDAR-capable iPhone to create a camera-guided room map and mark your speaker and listening positions. Your saved room is available to inspect and update. A room map describes positions; microphone measurements assess sound. GUIDED SOUND MEASUREMENTS Pair with Onda on your Mac, then follow the measurement flow on your iPhone. Supported setups can check speaker timing and measure Room Fill bass and treble adjustments. Moving scans let you walk through listening areas with the phone’s microphones uncovered. Measurements are validated before a correction is applied. PAIR ONCE Connect to your chosen Mac on the local network. Trusted connections are remembered for reconnection when you open the app. Keep Onda Room visible while measuring. LOCAL BY DESIGN Test-tone audio is processed temporarily on the iPhone. Only measurement results go to your paired Mac. Camera images and microphone recordings are not uploaded, and there is no Onda cloud account or advertising. REQUIREMENTS Onda Room requires Onda for Mac, downloaded separately from our website, and a compatible speaker setup. The Mac app requires macOS 14 or later; Spotify sharing requires 14.2. Both devices must be on the same local network. Camera-guided room mapping requires a LiDAR-capable iPhone; microphone measurements have separate permissions. Measured room EQ and acoustic synchronization currently support a pair of eight-channel Apple Studio Displays with the configured Sonos output. Other speaker combinations can play through Onda for Mac with personal tone and estimated/manual timing controls, but automatic acoustic room tuning has not been generalized to them. Check the compatibility guide before downloading. Onda is an independent project and is not affiliated with Apple, Spotify or Sonos.
