Gatekept - Places & Events

Gatekept helps you find the local places and events people usually hear about from a friend who knows the city. Discover independent cafés, restaurants, bars, galleries, markets, and events that fit your taste, location, and plans. Swipe through a personalized feed, search in plain language, see every pick on the map, and save what catches your eye. Open any place or event to ask a practical question—like whether a café is good for laptop work or a spot works for a date—and get an answer grounded in current sources when one can be verified. Gatekept learns from what you save, skip, and search so the feed gets sharper without taking your preferences too literally. Use Gatekept when you want something cool, local, and worth leaving for—not another generic top-ten list.
