Optrix: Laser Puzzle

Optrix is a single-player puzzle game about light, mirrors and patience. Every level hands you a laser, a grid full of optical elements, and a handful of crystals. Each crystal has to be hit by the beam in its own colour. Light them all and the level is solved. Mirrors send the beam off in a new direction. Splitters multiply it. Colour splitters break white light into red, green and blue. Some tiles can be pushed — you can spot them by their subtle wobble — and slide until an obstacle stops them. Bombs, balloons, blockers, doors, barriers and logic tiles arrive gradually across the level packs, so nothing ever lands in front of you unexplained. Designed to be calm. No streaks, no in-app purchases, no ads, no tracking. Put it down and come back later; Continue takes you straight back to where you left off. FEATURES • Play right away: four level packs with nearly 70 levels are built in. They play offline, with no account and no sign-up. • Two stars per level: one for solving it, one for staying inside the step limit. Stars unlock the later levels of a pack. • Made for iPhone and iPad: every orientation, Split View and Stage Manager windows, and larger text sizes. Pinch to zoom into big boards; arrows at the screen edge point at what happens off screen. • Queue up to five moves ahead. • Your music keeps playing: when you listen to your own music or a podcast, the game's music steps aside and the sound effects play on top. • An optional free account keeps your progress on our server and on every device you sign in on, the browser at optrixgame.net included. It also brings more level packs under "Get more packs". Signing up keeps the progress you made as a guest. • Sign in your way: email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. Delete your account yourself, any time, in the app. • Solution reveals: with an account, the stars you earn pay for reveals. After a loss, reveal the level's reference solution and watch it play. Replaying your own winning run is always free. • Offline first: results you play offline wait on the device and upload once you are online, and the server confirms your stars. • Fully bilingual: English and German. Optrix began in 1995 as a TurboPascal experiment in 16 colours, and was rebuilt in 2025/2026 by the same two people. Version 2 is a native iPhone and iPad app, written in Swift.
