Description
Your wheel-building workshop, with records you can take with you. Spoketrue combines spoke geometry, your own tension readings, recheck comparisons and service records in a private on-device notebook. No account, subscription, ads or app telemetry. GEOMETRY THAT SHOWS ITS ASSUMPTIONS Calculate left and right spoke lengths and bracing angles from ERD, flange dimensions, spoke count and crossing pattern. Load a saved wheel’s geometry again. Enter your ERD uncertainty to see its effect on calculated lengths. Invalid or blank dimensions cannot be saved as a valid calculation. A COMPLETE TENSION RECORD Log individual readings by side, using kgf, N or your meter’s raw scale. Review per-side statistics and the polar chart, edit the session label, target, window and notes, and save every reading to CSV. Raw-scale percentages describe instrument readings, not force; convert readings with the correct meter/spoke chart before using force units. RECHECK DESK Compare two saved passes with matching positive readings and equal per-side counts. Confirm the same numbering, direction, meter and calibration. Review corresponding-spoke changes and share a frozen CSV text report. Counts alone do not prove positional alignment. BACK UP YOUR WORKSHOP Save geometry, passes, checkpoints, notes and attached photos as a JSON library backup. Restore adds new wheels and skips identical records. Conflicting identifiers reject the entire restore without overwriting current records. Supports files up to 50 MB and 2000 wheels. FULL BUILD CARDS Export all saved passes, individual readings, checkpoints and service notes as a multipage PDF with reading charts. Note photos remain in the library and JSON backup; PDFs identify attachments. Text export is also included. FOCUSED OFFLINE GUIDE Twelve workshop notes explain measurement conventions, meter conversion, calibration boundaries, dish checks and record keeping, with links to reviewed sources. A clearer wheel icon and readable iPhone/iPad layouts complete the update. The geometry model is for conventional J-bend wheels with equal spoke counts and the same cross pattern on both sides. Offset rims need center-to-flange inputs adjusted to the spoke-bed centerline. Straight-pull and paired-spoke designs need appropriate manufacturer tools. Calculated rounding is not an order recommendation. Spoketrue does not prescribe safe tension, diagnose damage or certify a wheel. Verify dimensions, component limits and the finished build independently. Core records and calculations work offline; source links require a connection. The app interface is in English.
