ClipLit

Cliplit turns short videos into captioned, share-ready clips right on your iPhone. Import a video from Photos or Files, let Apple's on-device Speech framework transcribe the audio, fix any words, choose a caption style, preview the timing, then export a burned-in MP4 to Photos. Your video and audio stay on your device. There is no account, no cloud queue, and no advertising SDK. Version 2.1 adds an Export Readiness advisor in Preview plus an offline Creator Playbook in Settings. Before you render, Cliplit checks the clip for subtitle timing, reading speed, caption contrast, platform safe zones, and deliverable completeness. The new playbook adds an 18,750-entry local reference pack of caption hooks, readability rules, safe-zone notes, subtitle delivery checklists, and accessibility reminders for creators working without a network connection.
