Description
faceMap guides an operator through capturing another person's face, entirely on the iPhone. No account, processing server, or computer is required. Keep the subject still while moving the iPhone through seven guided positions. The app gathers overlapping photos between positions. Save after the guided pass, or add photos to fill coverage gaps. - Follow angle, distance, stability, and lighting guidance during capture. - Record rear-camera photos and LiDAR depth on supported iPhones. - Review photos, missing views, and available local depth previews. - Organize sessions by a local patient identifier and capture date. - Recover unfinished drafts and restore scans from local trash. - Explore a clearly labeled synthetic demo without photographing a person. - Export saved sessions to Files or share a copy through iOS. Capture, local review, and export work offline. LiDAR is optional. Photo-only sessions provide photo review and export; they do not produce a reconstructed 3D model in this release. The app does not provide a diagnosis or validated clinical measurements. Requires iOS 17 or later and a compatible iPhone with ARKit world tracking for real capture. Obtain the subject's permission before recording or sharing scans.
