Biscuit is a notes and writing app for jotting down a thought, organizing it with #tags, and finding it again in seconds. Record audio while you type and each sentence is linked to the moment you wrote it — tap a sentence during playback to jump right there. WRITE RIGHT AWAY • Start a new note instantly; everything saves automatically • Headings, bold, lists, checklists and Markdown syntax • Import .txt and .md files as copies (your original files stay untouched) • Send text to Biscuit from other apps with the share sheet ORGANIZE WITH #TAGS • Type #ideas or #work/meetings in a note to build nested tags • Browse parent and child tags in the Tags tab • Pin favorite notes and tags; unread notes are marked FIND IT FAST • Full-text search across titles, note bodies and tags, with matches highlighted • Type several words to see only notes that contain all of them • Jump to the next or previous match inside a note WRITE WITH AUDIO • Record while you write; sentences are linked to the recording timeline • During playback, tap a sentence to jump to that moment • Recordings are kept as audio files attached to the note IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC • Sync between devices on the same Apple Account with iCloud (Apple CloudKit private database) • Mac menus and shortcuts: ⌘N new note, ⌘O import, ⌘F find • Export and share notes as Markdown files • Restore deleted notes from the Trash PRIVACY • No sign-up, and no developer server storing your notes • The microphone is used only when you record • Optional reminders never show your note titles or text FREE VERSION AND BISCUIT PRO • Free: create up to 2 notes (notes in the Trash count; delete one permanently to create another). • Biscuit Pro: create unlimited notes. One subscription works on iPhone, iPad and Mac. • Plans: monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app and on the App Store. • The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers; after the trial the yearly price is charged and renews every year. The monthly plan has no free trial. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. • Manage or cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on iPhone or iPad, or App Store > Account Settings on Mac. • If your subscription ends, you keep every note you made: you can still read, edit, search and export them.
