Project Emerald

Buy and sell quality secondhand fashion with purpose. Emerald is your trusted resale marketplace for secondhand clothing and accessories. Whether you're clearing out your wardrobe or looking for affordable, high-quality pieces, Emerald makes it easy to shop and sell sustainably—while joining a growing community passionate about circular fashion. We’re not just another secondhand app. Emerald is designed to give you confidence, control, and connection—because we believe fashion should be better for your wallet, your wardrobe, and the planet. Why Emerald? •Sustainable by Design Extend the life of great fashion and reduce waste by giving garments a second (or third!) life. We make it easy to shop more consciously—without sacrificing style. • Easy, Fast Listings List an item in minutes. Our smart tech helps auto-fill item details so you can upload, price, and post quickly. Less time listing, more time selling. • Quality-First Marketplace We prioritise quality. All listings (excluding free/donation items) have a $20 minimum value to ensure better items, less landfill, and more love per piece. • Simple Postage or Local Pick-up Choose to post or meet up locally. The choice is yours. We give buyers and sellers flexible options to keep things convenient and cost-effective. • Integrated Chat Ask questions, confirm sizing, or discuss details with ease—right within the app. • Follow & Share Follow your favourite sellers or brands and get notified when they list new items. Easily share items to your socials or with friends. • Built for Circular Fashion We track how much fashion waste you’ve helped divert from landfill. Every transaction is a step toward a more circular, climate-conscious future. • For Brands and Charities Emerald partners with brands and op shops to support resale of samples, returns, and seconds. We offer the option to earn royalties as items are sold and resold, encouraging circular design and long-term value. If you're a fashion brand or charitable retailer, get in touch to join the resale movement. • Join the Movement Less than 1% of clothing is currently recycled—but resale is growing 15x faster than traditional retail.
