3D Object Creator

3D Object Creator is a modelling tool for simple, accurately dimensioned parts for 3D printing, such as brackets, plates with holes, covers, signs and spare parts. BASIC SHAPES The shapes are box, cylinder, sphere, cone, pyramid, wedge, torus and tube. You enter size and position in millimetres or drag them directly on the model. The grid snaps to 0.1, 1 or 10 mm. BOOLEAN OPERATIONS Bodies can be added, subtracted and intersected. Several holes can be punched out of a body in one step. The selection order decides what is subtracted from what. TEXT Text becomes a 3D object, in a standard font or a fixed-width typewriter font. The letters can also be arranged on a circle. Subtracting text engraves it; adding it gives raised lettering. EDITING - Move, rotate, scale and mirror - Cut along a plane - Round or chamfer edges - Mesh editing on vertices, edges and faces: extrude, fill, connect - Undo and redo CHECK AND EXPORT Mesh info shows whether a model is closed (watertight) and ready to print. Meshes can be cleaned up, repaired and reduced to fewer triangles. - Import: STL, OBJ, PLY and 3MF - Export: STL (binary or ASCII), OBJ, PLY and 3MF through the share sheet, for example to a slicer APPLE WATCH The watch app works on its own. On the watch you can: - create basic shapes and text - set dimensions with the Digital Crown or a keypad - run boolean operations, round edges and cut - save projects and share files On request, it exchanges projects with the iPhone. PRIVACY The app needs no account, shows no ads and has no tracking. All models stay on the device.
