Description
A to-do list that finally shows how far you have come. Every task you tick off in TaskClimb moves your climber higher up a mountain route — until you are standing on the summit of the goal you set. Plain checklists only ever show what is left, which is why a long list feels heavier the longer you work at it. TaskClimb reframes the very same tasks as an ascent: a goal becomes a peak, each task becomes a waypoint on the route, and the harder jobs earn more altitude. The finish line is visible from the first step, so momentum builds instead of quietly leaking away. WHAT YOU GET - Turn any goal or project into a peak with its own route of waypoints and a clear summit - Add, edit and delete tasks with a title, an easy, medium or hard rating and an optional due date - Tap the circle to tick a task off, tap again to undo it, swipe to delete - Earn altitude (120, 260 or 480 m) and XP (10, 25 or 50) scaled to how hard the task really was - Watch your climber move up the ridge with every waypoint you finish - Reach the summit when every task in a peak is done, with a celebration and a +100 XP bonus - Climb the ranks from Base Camper to Mountaineer as your total XP grows - Keep a day streak alive for every day you complete at least one task - Read your own numbers in Progress: streak, summits reached, tasks done, total elevation, a 14-day completion chart and a difficulty donut showing where your altitude came from - Pick one of eight built-in mountain photographs per peak, rename or delete peaks, and use the horizontal peak picker to switch your active climb - A Learn tab with four written articles on the psychology of goal setting, each with its source cited - One optional daily reminder at 19:00 to keep the streak safe on a busy day - Haptic feedback on taps, completions and summits, in a focused dark theme PERFECT FOR - People who give up on task apps because a flat list never feels rewarding - Students and professionals breaking a big project into steps they can finish today - Anyone chasing a long goal — a launch, a training block, a house move, a dissertation - Habit builders who stay consistent when there is a streak on the line WHY NOT JUST USE A PLAIN CHECKLIST? A checklist answers "what is left" and nothing else. TaskClimb answers "how far have I come" — with a route you can see, altitude that reflects real effort, and stats that prove the week was not wasted. Same tasks, completely different pull.
