Description
The final walkthrough is where a renovation is won or lost in the client's eyes. One overlooked chip in the paint, a cracked tile, a socket that doesn't sit right — and the handover that should have closed the job turns into a back-and-forth of disputed lists and half-remembered promises. Snag Builder gives that final inspection a clear structure, so nothing slips through and every defect has a paper trail from the moment it's spotted to the moment it's signed off.You walk the site room by room, logging each snag where you find it — its trade, how serious it is, a photo, a pin on the plan, a note, and who needs to fix it by when. Each room shows how many snags are still open, and the whole project rolls up into a single handover readiness figure, so at any moment you know exactly how close the job is to done and what's still standing in the way. What makes it more than a task list is the way a defect closes. A snag doesn't disappear because someone says it's handled. It moves through a clear flow: the worker marks it fixed, and then it goes into a queue for the inspector to actually verify before it counts as closed — and anything that isn't right can be reopened. That double confirmation is what stops "done" from being taken on trust, and it's what gives you a defensible record when you hand the keys over.
