Tempo: Slow English

Learn English by listening to podcasts spoken slowly and clearly, made for learners. Every Tempo episode is recorded at a calm, slower pace, with a transcript that follows the audio, so you catch every word and understand what you hear. A few minutes a day is enough to start training your ear. TAP ANY WORD Don't know a word? Tap it in the transcript to hear it, see how it's pronounced and save it. Speak Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, French or Turkish? You'll also see what the word means in that sentence and a translation of the whole line. MY WORDS & FLASHCARDS Every word you save keeps the sentence you heard it in. Practice them as flashcards: Tempo brings each word back just before you'd forget it, so it sticks. LISTEN YOUR WAY - 100+ episodes, from Beginner to Advanced - Read-along transcripts synced to the audio - Adjustable playback speed - Background audio, lock-screen controls and a sleep timer - Save episodes to listen offline - My Week: plan your listening and track your progress TOPICS Stories, daily life, travel, business, science, technology, culture, people, sports, entertainment, mind & body and wellness.
