Gide Legacy

Gide Legacy helps families preserve the memories that matter: stories, interviews, photos, videos, documents, and the people connected to them. Create a private family archive on your device. Record a loved one’s voice, add names and dates to old photographs, organize memories by person and timeline, and turn published stories into a printable family book. When you choose to connect Google Drive, you can back up your archive and share selected memories with approved family members. Your private memories stay private unless you decide to share them. Features include: • Guided story and interview capture • Photo, video, audio, document, and text memories • People, timeline, search, and family-book views • On-device transcription, text recognition, and archive search tools • Google Drive backup using storage owned by your Google account • Controlled family invitations and sharing • Local export and printable PDF family books • Accessible text, contrast, and reduced-motion options Gide Legacy is designed as a calm, private home for family history—not a public social network. Some family-management features require a one-time Family License. Additional family seats are available as optional one-time purchases.
