Il Piatto Sano (The Healthy Plate) is the digital tool of «Mangiare Bene, Crescere Meglio» (Eat Well, Grow Better), the food education program of S.A.N.E. Italia, a network of nutritionist biologists who bring food education and food safety into schools. It is designed for teachers, nutritionists, educators and families, to help children and teenagers learn to eat well and understand food allergies through play: in class on the interactive whiteboard, on a tablet or at home. Serafina the mascot guides them along the way. ALLERGIES, FOR EVERY CHILD The game handles the 14 mandatory EU allergens in a personalized way: set the allergens and intolerances of a child or of the whole class, and risky foods are flagged in real time.
