It’s great. My only complaint is within the last month when I turn it on, it plays for a second or two and then shuts off. About every 6th or 7th attempt it will finally play through indefinitely. I’ve tried deleting and re downloading but nothing is helping. I’m really bummed about it.

It calms him and helps him fall asleep. My problem with the app is that it keeps the phone screen on as long as it’s open, even once the sound stops playing. I’m a new mom, I’m very tired, and I tend to turn the rain sound on and stick my phone under my pillow when it’s done. If I don’t remember to turn the phone screen off it stays on and my phone heats up. I understand that I should make sure to turn my phone screen off but there isn’t a reason for it to stay on once the sound has stopped. Really it could let the screen turn off after the typical minute of disuse. Also, the ad banner at the bottom recently keeps showing ads that cut out the sound of the app. I guess the developer checked some box that they have sound even though they don’t. The sound cutting out is jarring for anyone trying to fall asleep and the sound never comes back on! No matter how many times I report that the ad covers the content it keeps playing so I’m out. I’ll find a different app.

I thought my neighbors were playing it. Nope. Was my iTunes simultaneously playing? Nope. It was the app. There was an ad for tattoos or piercings or something that had heavy metal incorporated so that it was barely audible over the sound of the white noise. Had I not noticed the ad at the bottom with the word "piercing" I might have never figured out where that music was coming from. I feel like I am going to have nightmares because of this. And my poor son! Has this been happening every night to him???

The lullabies help me when I’m having nights of high anxiety and trouble sleeping. When this app was taken off the App Store temporarily I freaked out. Unfortunately now it’s having tech issues with the app not playing the lullabies with some ad’s audio. Love this app. Mr and sleepy sounds Forever.

But recently when I start a sleep sound, an ad pops up at the bottom and it completely stops the sleep sound. I thought if I click back and try again, it would work, but no the ad keeps popping up and stopping the sleep sound. I even tried closing the app and trying again, the ad still keeps stopping the sleep sound. Unfortunately I’ve had to download a new white noise app, so hopefully that one doesn’t have any issues.

Turning the white noise to the highest volume has calmed my baby almost instantly MANY times in her first year of life! Often she falls asleep to the white noise after she has calmed down! I really like the white noise sound that this app has when comparing it to other white noise sounds/apps I've tried.

The music or sounds will play for a second, then stop when the ad shows up. Sometimes it will finally work after closing and reopening 10-15 times, but who has the time or patience for that when trying to get young kids (or yourself) to sleep? If this issue were fixed, I’d be back to a 5-star review. But as-us, this is app is now a total disappointment.

When I have watched a fussy grand baby I have played Sleepy Sounds to calm them. I have used it at bedtime, and recently used it at bedtime at a church youth group overnighter when chaperoning. They thought it was a cute touch to bedroom check. I highly recommend downloading this app for every GoodGrandma.

Now nine years and three kids later, as I try to put our 2 yo down after riding out the app lowering the sound and cutting off completely for the last couple months, I’ve had it. If you have kids, and/or rely on consist noise to fall asleep, this app isn’t for you. If you want to fight the app while it wakes you or your kids up, you have chosen wisely. It was a good ride, sleepy sounds.
