Oramae

Oramae is a filmmaking platform designed to support independent filmmakers, actors, and creative professionals throughout their professional journeys, bringing together collaboration, career development, and funding opportunities. THE ORAMAE COMMUNITY FUND At the heart of Oramae lies the Community Fund, a collective initiative dedicated to supporting independent cinema. Through monthly subscriptions of £0.99, participating members contribute to a shared funding pool dedicated to independent film projects. The Community Fund operates on a six-month cycle, with funding rounds taking place twice a year. Eligible filmmakers can submit their projects, while the Oramae community votes to select the films that receive funding. BEYOND FUNDING — A CREATIVE COMMUNITY Oramae provides a professional space where filmmakers can connect, showcase their work, build their portfolios and showreels, discover collaborators, and form production teams. Through Creative Stream, Creative Connect, and Immersive CV, members can share their artistic journeys, explore creative opportunities, and develop projects together. BUILT FOR INDEPENDENT CINEMA Oramae was created to challenge the barriers facing independent filmmakers and open new possibilities through collective participation. Because the future of independent cinema should not depend on who you know, but on what a community can create together.
