Content Violations are too strict.

I was to start off by saying I genuinely love this app. Getting to make content and characters and have special interactions with those characters via video pro...I was to start off by saying I genuinely love this app. Getting to make content and characters and have special interactions with those characters via video prompts has been amazing. However, what I’m struggling with is the ai content violations. I’m a light skin male and I used a prompt that involved my character of me and another character I created hugging because at the moment that is what I really needed. I tried this several times even altering the prompts. But it told me that my prompt was suggestive or racy.. which honestly offended me Alittle. I tried to do ones where I was telling my character about me going to school for massage and offering him one and explaining the body pressure points and such and it told me no. Because of depictions of teens and children?? And when I tried again it said it was sexual and told me I couldn’t do anything for 20 minutes. I love this app to pieces. I can’t begin to tell you how much it’s help me. It was even recommended by my therapist for that very reason. However, I serious think SORA needs to reevaluate their restrictions if possible because as I said for the simply prompts I was doing, to be told they are violations for depicting teens and children, sexual and even racy is rather offensive. Love the app but my ratings a three until this is figured out.

Wh...Sora looks impressive, but it sometimes fails to understand detailed prompts, and its limited availability makes it frustrating for users who want to try it. While the visuals are stunning, the AI can misinterpret scenes or freeze mid-render. The waiting list system also makes it feel more like an exclusive club than a tool for everyone. Another issue is that Sora doesn’t always respect creative details—sometimes it changes colors, settings, or characters completely. And when the request gets too unusual, it simply refuses instead of offering alternatives. It would be amazing if Sora could learn from feedback or let users edit parts of the video directly, instead of starting over each time. Plus, it sometimes feels like it’s guessing what you want instead of truly understanding it; you can spend more time adjusting your prompts than enjoying the results. The render times can be long, and if the servers are busy you might wait quite a while for a clip that still isn’t what you pictured. For something that promises instant creativity, those delays can pull you right out of the fun.

You don’t have to know a whole lot of magic prompts but you do have to watch out specially if you are describing something urban something black something pacific pertaining to urban lifestyle, ghetto lifestyle, hip-hop lifestyle, real hip-hop lifestyle. after a few edits, you can have the app basically regenerate close to the idea you envision in your head, but the app needs a little bit more work to really get the pacific of a description when it’s given a description like I had one post one generated image where the arm was in back of the character and the other arm was like some long monstrous arm, so that was a mistake and it fixed the mistake, but it generated a whole different scene from the first scene, so it’d be nice if we can individually fix the mistakes within the first generated character image video for example if I am to edit what was generated I would like to pacifically edit certain areas of the generated piece like the character or the arm of the head of the eyes or the lips the clothing you know different things like that maybe the scenery maybe writing on the wall like I do graffiti, and it always gives me some generic, graffiti never pacific graffiti of what I’m looking for but overall the app is pretty good

As a dedicated Sora user, I’ve found the platform to be an extraordinary tool for bringing creative ideas to life often those that feel impossible to visualize ...As a dedicated Sora user, I’ve found the platform to be an extraordinary tool for bringing creative ideas to life often those that feel impossible to visualize elsewhere. Sora gives that creativity in a way a few apps can bring and I believe it holds true potential for growth and development. That said, I’d like to offer some feedback from my experience. As a UI/UX designer, I’ve noticed that certain settings specifically those related to video length and orientation (landscape vs. portrait) can be difficult for users to locate and adjust. It took me some time to discover how to modify these options, and I’ve heard similar concerns from other users who found this setting and were surprised that it was on the top of the screen this entire time but they never thought to check it. For future updates, I recommend making these settings more accessible and clearly labeled. Improving their visibility and ease of use would significantly enhance the onboarding experience for new users and streamline workflows for existing ones. Aside from this, I want to say that Sora is by far the most inspiring and powerful creative app I’ve ever used. I’m excited to see how it continues to evolve and unlock its full potential.

I know you have to add your own account to make the character but for the side characters, please try to add the options of the realistic characters. And make sure that the realistic normal characters are look alikes on their faces. And also that racy or suggestive material, please be able to make an exception to be able to use that on it. And also fix the third-party similarities, please. And fix the heavy load that you are experiencing cause I’m having trouble with issues on it. And you better fix the generating videos it’s still not going through and I am not paying a membership for it. Fix the one with the teens and children’s. Cause otherwise I would delete this app or otherwise I’ll report you. Cause for me reporting you as the last thing I wanted to, and I don’t wanna leave one star. and fix your guardrails too please. And also please have the option for racy and suggestive content material please.

Went through all the steps and skipped the portion of giving my likeness over to be used…whole app, and account was at zero. Don’t even have any my media section now. I’ve tried multiple browser extensions, log out/in-changed pw, have videos from yesterday, when o first used the app; now? On my laptop, didn’t update or do anything…yet! I got and check out Sora on my PC—-updated to the app looking platform and still no my media/library. I had very unique images created by Sora. Even one-her last one, as the wildly amazing looking humanoid/interwoven matrix system…gone…so 1 star until my library returns Update-yeah ok so the super small “…” on the bottom of the platform? Can click and it allows to switch to older models…clearly I’m an older model with a case of the grandpappies…symptoms include: emotional outrage to sudden loss of amateur works, temporary narrowing of vision from said outrage, projecting onto ChatGPT, and eventually apologizing…the grandpappies

The copyright issues with recognizable material is just not going to happen, but what I mean is more related to the messages about things being to similar that already exists. That needs to be fixed, since it wastes too many videos within your daily quota. I understand the 30 video limit, so it’s not a part of my critique. If it saves power usage, I’m good with it. Please understand, that some of us do care about that, as excessive power use just for videos would raise energy prices on the poor. As far as other criticisms, my main issue is just the amount of failed videos due to copyright confusion and, “explicit material” for video not meant to be “explicit.” I really don’t have patience for it, as I’m an adult who has become increasingly annoyed by big tech censorship, especially false censorship. Eventually I assume the flashing logo would disappear once a membership is established, as well as quality. It does need need improvement with prompt understanding. A good start with very good ai quality, less than mediocre video quality, prompt understanding less than mediocre too. I lowered my score after receiving 5 content violation warnings in a row for different videos and prompts. It’s just frustrating, since the quota limit is lingering closer. I’m lower my score more since the amount of “content violations “ I’m getting for innocent video requests, things you wouldn’t expect would bring it up. So, after trying even more videos my chances of getting a completed video are so low that I’m dropping my score down to one star. This needs some serious work. 10 content violations in a row for absurdly innocent videos is not acceptable. Ugh, now I have videos that never stop trying to generate, and every time I try to generate a video it says I can’t because I already have videos generating. They should have been done awhile ago.

Problem, lots of limitations on what you can and can’t generate, some are understandable some are just overreach, even borderline stupid. The limit is apparently 30 videos in 24 hours and each can only be 10 seconds. I understand short video limitations with AI but tray that needs to be raised to 20 seconds for crying out loud. If there was a paid option to maybe allow 30 seconds to 1 minute videos with unlimited videos, I would be for that. As of right now it’s fun but you can’t make any compete scenes as it won’t even with detailed promises kept a character consistent. Lots of room for improvement Update: If they limit to 10 seconds at least make it easy for the system to to have cohesion between the screens. If I could make 30, 10 second scenes that follow the pace of each other and stay contrast the limitation wouldn’t be so bad but reach reversion is particle a new scene no matter how close you try to get the scenes to construe like they’re the same it won’t.

I type “An AI boy walking an English Mastiff outside in the rain on the siedewalk and the AI bot has electrical issues due to the rain.” It shows me the ai bot with just graphics and no animation, like it’s just a normal day. I redo it and I add at the end “Make the ai bot comically jump in the air due to the electrical issues.” It makes the ai bot jump up like it’s playing jump rope. Next one: Prompt:Santa comically gets stuck going down the chimney. It gives me a video of Santa going down the chimney and somehow ends up inside the home upside down with his legs hanging from the chimney outside of the chimney. Like someone glued him to it. His legs were outside the chimney. And the best part, Santa looks at the kids and says “is that Santa” So I’m like I’m done, but I have one more idea as a final goodbye. Prompt: Someone deleting the sora app from their iPhone. It shows me a video where someone deletes an app on the iPhone. You can clearly see the icon for Sora isn’t on screen but a prompt does come on screen saying “delete Sora”? When clearly the app icon isn’t on screen.
