Ruby Mist drops you onto a scorched volcanic ridge where two artillery guns face each other across a landscape that will never look the same twice. Every shell follows real physics — drag, quadratic air resistance, and a wind that shifts every turn — so your aim is never a lookup table and never a guess. Drag anywhere on the battlefield to aim: the arc on screen is the actual trajectory the integrator runs live for your shell and the current gust. Release to fire. The ground is not decoration. Shells carve true craters into a per-cell terrain mask and collapse the soil above; a hit beneath an overhang drops the whole shelf. Incendiary rounds seed fire that creeps uphill along surface rock, burning away cover the blasts missed and threatening any gun left too close. Seven shell types — each defined by real mass, drag coefficient and blast geometry — give you a full toolkit: bunker rounds that burrow before detonating, airburst shells that ignore terrain and punish exposed positions, diggers that reshape the battlefield more than they damage. Your opponent is not scripted. It runs the same integrator your shells fly through, solves the inverse ballistics problem with a secant method, and walks its shots in using the signed miss of its previous round — the same bracket technique a real gun crew uses. Difficulty controls how far its solved angle deviates from perfect, not whether it gets to cheat. Twelve campaign stages across four sectors lead from Ash Recruit to Ashfall Marshal. A full shot archive lets you replay any match from first round to last, and the import tool turns any photograph of a ridge line into a live destructible battlefield — the sky-to-rock split is found automatically, no slider needed.
