Equipment - New "Linked Equipments" section on the equipment Details tab: - "+" lets you pick customer equipment to link (several at once), or create a new piece of equipment and link it straight away. - Long-press a linked card to unlink it; this removes only the link, not the equipment. - Tapping a linked card opens that equipment; the back arrow returns to the original. - Works offline; links are sent to the server once the device is back online. - Long-press the equipment title at the top to see the full name and reference. - The equipment title stays centred whichever icons are shown. - Equipment "Library" tab: pull down to refresh attachments (online only). - Android: tapping "Model Number" (and other fields with grey placeholder text) now opens the keyboard. 2. Dataplate scanning - The "OCR Results" review pop-up is removed; scanned values go straight into the equipment form. - If nothing can be read, a "No Data Found" alert appears and the form is not changed. - Values you already typed are no longer cleared by an empty scan. 3. Equipment manuals - AI-found manuals now have their own "Ai manuals" section; internal manuals stay in "Manuals". - Each section heading shows a count. - The AI search button is greyed out once it has found manuals for that equipment. - Manuals load once per login session, so reopening the Library tab is instant. 4. Attachments - Text-type files (txt, csv, log, html, xml, email, json, yaml, md, contact, calendar, rtf...) show a small page preview with a coloured format badge. Word, Excel and PowerPoint icons get a coloured badge. - Uploading: the Files picker now accepts Office, CSV, HTML, XML, email, calendar, contact, RTF, JSON, YAML, Markdown, log and config files. On Android it opens in the Download folder. - These files open inside the app; contact and calendar files show their details. The preview has "Share" and "Open" buttons. - In the work order's image viewer, a PDF now shows its first-page preview instead of the plain PDF icon. - Sample files for every format are available from the dev team. 5. Side menu (new) - Tap the profile picture or initials (top left), or swipe from the left edge on the main tabs, to open the new side menu. - It shows the technician's details, the active work order with Clock In/Out, Time Log and Lunch, and Total Hours. - Menu items: Change Password, Time Log, Transaction Log, 3rd Party Sync, Offline Sync, Report a Bug, Text and Icon Manager, Pin Manager, Log Out. - "3rd Party Sync" and "Offline Sync" show a spinner while running; the menu closes on its own when sync finishes. - The technician photo falls back to initials if the image can't load. 6. Workflows and warranty - Up to 99 workflows (was 10) can be added to a work order at once, including up to 99 copies of the same workflow. - The "+" button in the workflow folder picker scales with the text size setting. - New "Add Warranty" button inside the Add Warranty workflow step. It needs internet and is hidden once a claim exists. - The Add Warranty step completes itself when the equipment already has a warranty claim. - Warranty form: - the "Option" field now asks "Did your company complete the service call?" (Yes/No) - the claim options are in a new order - customer contact fields are hidden - Warranty dates now show as MM/DD/YYYY. - Warranty result screen: the back arrow now goes straight back to the workflows.
