Taste Jo is a tasting journal for people who love pure tea. Tap one square to record how a cup tastes, and over time you'll see what you really like, find tea lovers with a similar palate, and discover new teas worth trying. ONE TAP, ONE CUP • Rate any cup on a 10 × 10 grid of sweetness and body. Some tea houses use their own flavor axes, so you taste the way the grower intended. • Add a few words of your own if you like. • Find a tea by browsing tea houses or scanning its barcode. Each harvest batch is listed separately, because spring and winter teas taste different. • Can't find a tea? Recommend it to us and earn points. BREW TIMER • Pick light, medium, or strong and the timer starts. It alerts you even when your phone is locked. • When time's up the timer keeps counting, so you can steep a little longer and tap "Pour" when it's ready. • Every steep is logged with how long it actually took. • Note how the steep turned out (too weak, just right, too strong) and what to change next time. The next time you brew that tea, the timer suggests a strength. MY TEA BOX • Record any tea, even ones not yet on Taste Jo. • Keep your tea box private, or share it so friends can see your recent tastings on your profile. KNOW YOUR PALATE • Your profile maps every tasting on a taste matrix and describes your style. • Taste tribes group people whose palates are alike. • Follow other tea lovers and see what they're drinking. HOLIM POINTS • Earn Holim Points when you rate teas listed on Taste Jo, with a bonus when your rating is close to what the community tastes. • Climb the Holim Board, and see which teas rank highest. VIP MEMBERSHIP (OPTIONAL) • Choose tea by tea which teas in your tea box to share • Back up and sync your tea box and brew logs across devices • Export your tastings as a CSV file • Exclusive badge and avatar frame VIP is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store account settings. Taste Jo focuses on pure tea: no milk tea or fruit tea.
