JustIS District Courts is a official mobile application of the e-Committee, Supreme Court of India. This free-to-download application provides useful information related to pending and decided cases through a simple, secure and user-friendly interface. The application enables users to access judicial information including Cause Lists, Case Status, Daily Orders, Judgments, Calendar information and Important Cases management. Judicial Officers (Principal District Judge and Judges) can securely login to the application using mobile number and OTP-based authentication. After successful login, the Dashboard is displayed as the default screen of the application. The Dashboard provides quick access to modules including Alerts, Pending Cases, Disposed Cases, Cause Lists, Calendar, Search Cases, Briefcase and Important Cases. Alerts section helps users quickly view important case statistics including Today’s Listed Cases, Undated Cases, Cases Instituted in the Previous Month, Cases Received by Transfer, Current Pending Cases, Delay Reasons and Cases Disposed in the Current Month. Users can click on counts to view detailed lists and related case information. Pending and Disposed sections provide detailed analysis of Civil, Criminal and combined case categories. Cases can be viewed based on Year, Case Type, Stage, Delay Reasons, ADR categories and Disposal Types. Information is available in both graphical and tabular formats. The application also supports filtering based on Ready and Unready cases. Application supports ADR monitoring including Lok Adalat and Mediation cases under Pending and Disposed categories. Date-wise disposal statistics can also be viewed using date-range selection. Cause List module enables users to select a preferred date and view Civil or Criminal cause lists for selected establishments. The Calendar module displays date-wise counts of Civil and Criminal cases in an interactive format. On selecting a particular date, stage-wise case details and case counts are displayed with drill-down access. Application provides advanced search functionality with multiple search options including Search by CNR Number, Case Number, Party Name, Filing Number, FIR Number and Relevant Act. By entering the required search details, users can directly access the case information of selected cases. Detailed Case History displays complete case-related information including Case Details, Case Status, Petitioner and Respondent details, Advocate information, Applicable Acts, Hearing History, Judgments, Orders and Transfer Details. Users can also view complete hearing history from the first hearing date to the latest proceedings. Application includes an “Important Case” feature that allows users to save cases for future reference. Saved cases are displayed under the “Important Cases” section. Users can also add and edit notes related to saved cases using the “Add Note” feature. Important Cases section helps users create and maintain a personalized portfolio of saved cases. The “Today’s Cases” option provides quick access to important cases listed for the current date. The application also provides case refresh, case removal and synchronization functionality. Briefcase module allows users to access previous allocations, disposed cases and historical case information. The application additionally provides backup and restore functionality for saved cases on mobile devices using Export and Import options.
