NIM Authenticator is the companion app for organizations that sign in with Nesnet Identity Manager (NIM). • **One-tap sign-in approval** — a push notification arrives on your phone; match the two-digit number on your screen and confirm with Face ID. • **Number matching** — approvals show a code only you can see, so an attacker can't trick you into approving their sign-in. • **Authenticator codes** — time-based one-time codes (TOTP) for NIM and any service that shows a standard QR code. • **One scan sets up both** — scanning your NIM QR enrolls push approval and backup codes together. • **Private by design** — no ads, no tracking, no analytics. Secrets stay in the iOS Keychain. The optional cloud backup is encrypted and restores automatically when you set up a new phone. • **App lock** — Face ID or your passcode protects the app itself. • Stronger device certificates — each signed-in account keeps its own secure device identity; remote wipe clears it on this phone. NIM Authenticator requires an account provided by your organization's NIM identity service.
